====== McLennan, Roderick ====== 
 (died 26 Aug. 1889, aged 87), lumberman. Born in Scotland, he came to GC with his parents in 1814. He “became a very successful lumberman in the Ottawa district.” He died at Portage-du-Fort, Que., on the Ottawa River west of Ottawa. Burial was at Alexandria.
