Chisholm, Angela,
named Aimée de Marie (died 14 April 1974), member of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. (Sara Angela Chisholm) Born Lochiel Township, GC. Parents: Valentine G. Chisholm and his wife Catherine Ann MacDonald. She was probably the Mary Sarah Ang[ela] Chisholm born 28 May 1893. In 1913 at Ottawa she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. In 1915, also at Ottawa, she made her religious profession (Glengarry News 29 Oct. 1915) She is remembered as having suggested to Archibald Mark Chisholm that he found the Monastery of the Precious Blood in his hometown of Alexandria. She was mother superior of the Monastery 1933-1939. She died at Ottawa, in the Ottawa Monastery of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. She was the sister of Mary Jane Chisholm the chemist.
