(1902-1981), seed grower. He was a farmer at Arkinstall’s Corner, between Dunvegan and St. Elmo, and was a distinguished grower of pedigreed seed, especially noted as grower of timothy. He won championships at the Ottawa Winter Fair, the Royal Winter Fair, and elsewhere, and was president of the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers Association, and a Robertson Associate of the Canadian Seed Growers Association. Inducted 1985 into the Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame Gallery at the Ontario Agricultural Museum; he was inducted also 1992 into the Glengarry Agricultural Wall of Fame. He was married to (1) Isabella Ida Stewart (d. 1954), and (2) Anna Mary MacNeil.
